Hadith is an Arabic word which refers to a piece of information reported by some people in small or large qualitity. In Islam, Hadith refers to the collections of deeds, sayings, and silent approvals of Prophet Muhammed (SAW). It is a singular Arabic word the plural of which can be written as Ahadith.

Imam Ibn Isma'il Al-Bukhari Hadith Collection

Imam Ibn Isma'il Al-Bukhari was born in Shawwal 194 A.H. in Bukhara now known as Uzbekistan. He was an Islamic scholar who travelled widely around the Arab world to collect Ahadith. He was an authority in the knowledge of Hadith and his book of Hadith, As-Sahih Al-Bukhari remains the most authentic book of Hadith after Quran. Imam Al-Bukhari studied under Islamic scholars such as Yahya Ibn Ma'in, Malik Ibn Anas, etc.

Imam Ibn Isma'il Al-Bukhari Hadith Collection

Imam Muslim Ibn Al-Hajjaj Al-Qushari: Was born in Iran in the year 204 A.H. He is the second most famous collector of Hadith after Imam Al-Bukhari. He began the study of Hadith at an early age. He studied under Islamic scholars such as l-Bukhari, Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, etc. He was also a teacher to Hadith scholars such as At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Abu Hatim. He is the compiler of Sahih Muslim which contains 9,200 Ahadith. Imam Muslim died in the year 261 A.H.
