Give Iftar and Sahur this Ramadan

Feeding the poor and needy is an act that draws us closer to Allah. We earn His forgiveness, mercies and blessings through this act of charity.

“Whoever gives food to a fasting person with which to break his fast will have a reward equal to his, without it detracting in the slightest from the reward of the fasting person” Al-Tirmidhi

In life we will face many tests, Allah has told this in the Qur’an.

This is not to torture us but to test and build our character. In Surah Baqarah it tells us “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.” Surah Baqarah Ayat 286

We may have difficulties and challenges but nothing which we can’t handle. All our trials in life are things which can push us to the edge but not enough to knock us off the cliff. Subhanallah.

In hadith Riyad As Salihin hadith 101, Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying those in Jahannam will be the people of desires and passions while Jannah will be people of adversities.

In the hadith there’s a mention of a dua which can help with money problems. Ali’ reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) taught the following dua to ask for Allah’s help to relieve debt as large as a mountain.
